Asheville, NC?

I am moving to Asheville, NC at the end of May because my wife took a job there. Does anyone know if there is any good turkey hunting in that area because I have never even been there. Been in West Tennessee all my life and have been spoiled by the turkey hunting that West Tennessee offers. So if anyone knows if the turkey hunting is worth a dime there I would certainly like to know. Thanks.

i have been in the Asheville area quite a few times (not to turkey hunt per say) but i have seen turkeys around there. The more east you go from there the less there are as the habitat is brutal for them (Black Mountain area) but know a few guys that hunt out that way. Cant really say how big the population is but man that area is beautiful to me

I googled it and they give guided hunts out there so i guess its pretty good. I dont know
