My kids follow the Braves and I have to admit they generally play a pretty good game.

This season started great after all the trades but since the All-Star Break things have been in decline and now its embarrassing. No hitting no pitching. Seems this is the worst play I have seen for a Major League team in many a year.

I wonder if Fredi Gonzalez will be back.

Think they gave fredi a contract extension this year.

They started out real well just fell apart :? The hitting was much better this year Pitching did not hold up, And once they started falling in the standings, And seen they had No shot at the playoffs they gave up.

Started trading key pieces, And veterans, to build towards the Future.

The were expected to be about last in the division and now it is showing. They started rebuilding in the off season and are still in the middle of it. I think they are trying to get a good team together for when they open the new stadium in 2017. It is defiantly hard to watch.

It will be good when this year ends for Atlanta. They got past 50 wins. They are dead last in home runs, not even close to moving up.

They are 3rd in Balks. Last in Slugging percentage, could figured that from HR's, just statiscally not a great year except they did good with controlling errors.

They will do worse next year. Maybin, Markakis, Freeman, Simmons, Miller. That's it. Really hard to take.

At least they won't get 100 in the loss column.

The new stadium won't pitch a single ball or catch a fly. Ask the Marlins how that seems to be working.
