What a crock the transfer portal has become. Highly inconsistent, and does not benefit those with legitimate hardship cases. I just wish that the stupid NCAA would be equitable and consistent
 
I think athletes should be able to transfer one time with no issues as long as the intended school is not in the same conference. I don't think they should have to sit out a year either. I think it's absurd honestly. My opinion is they are kids, and sometimes we all know kids make bad decisions.

That makes too much sense. These guys are promised the moon during recruiting and then things aren't as rosy as promised. And then you have the case of their position coach or even head coach leaves for another job. The kid shouldn't have to be chained to that school for the entire time they are in school.

I don't disagree at all. Coaches come and go as they please... But it's not the current model, and the current decisions are made so randomly and inconsistently that it is maddening. Legitimate cases are denied for no apparent reason (Luke Ford) while some that seem to have no merit other than hurt feelings or depth charts are approved. I think that the system is screwed up badly.

Good for UT and Aubrey Solomon, I'm just over this whole transfer portal thing. I apologize for the rant, and I promise that it is directed towards no individual or team, just the NCAA
