After 3 days of hunting hard I killed a bird this morning. Spent about 4 hours working this bird yesterday for my fiancé and couldn't get him to commit to coming all the way. Things changed this morning as he came running full speed and caught up at 50 yards. He put on a show strutting and gobbling his head off for 15 minutes, before closing the distance at 35. As soon as he showed signs of being nervous I let him have it. Awesome morning in the woods.
