I`m looking to upgrade my release, anyone using a Thumb Release?? I looked at the Tru-Fire 3D Hunter and the Carter Target 4?? any suggestions!!! thanks

Go find a shop that has a bunch in stock that you can shoot...not all of them are created equal. I shot a BUNCH of them before I found one that felt good in my hand. That's the key to them...finding one that fits right.
Carter has the best feeling triggers on them...but I didn't find a single one that fit my hand the way I liked. As soon as I picked up a Stan SX-2 I knew I had the right one for me. Fit my hand great...great feeling trigger on it as well. BUT...I ONLY shoot them if I start punching my index finger release.

CT hit it on the head.
Carter or Stan...rest is personal feel.
I love a thumb release for allowing me to be hands free at any time until I draw with nothing clanking around.

You can't go wrong with CT's advice. You can also switch fingers with your index finger release and start using your middle finger for a completely different feel as well.
