Re: Back to back heisman

Don't think he does it this year. They didn't want to give it to him last year.

Re: Back to back heisman

I'm not saying that he isn't good, but UNC didn't act like they wanted to play defense at all today, much less tackle or play pass coverage. I will reserve my judgment for how good he really is until I see him play against a defense that is at least slightly better than lower level high school...

Well last year he beat a #3 ranked FSU and almost beat Clemson.

Agree, but his stats are sensationalized by playing in a league where defense is optional.

Re: Back to back heisman

possible, his name came up in the heisman watch. another name that was mentioned was kyle shurmur for vanderbilt. 500 yards passing, 8 total tds and no turnovers. impressive for only 6 quaraters of play due to bliwout victories. also completing 80 percent of passes. yeah, I know it's unlikely and they haven't anyone yet but they did mention his name

He is playing some dang good ball!!
I read somewhere he is one of the highest rated qbs in the country. If he gets protection his passes are almost perfect.
He hasn't played any good defenses but he also doesn't have any really good receivers either. I did hear his name mentioned for the hesidman trophy. Wudnt it be something if later on in the season he is still being mentioned. GO DORES!!

Well this weekend they play Clemson, so we should see how he does against a pretty good D.
