That's a very interesting development here before signing day. I know many have been critical of his play calling this will be interesting.

You beat me to it ha. I ain't real bothered by him leaving. May hurt a little because of being close to signing day but I do believe there are better coaches to fill his position.

I heard Gruden was in town looking at property this morning.

Hopefully it won't hurt right at signing day, I think we can upgrade though. I wasn't to impressed with his play calling, especially before Dobbs. Seemed like he didn't adjust to what the defense was giving him and to the style of QB he had early season.

If I had to pick one coach to leave it would be him. Wish him luck but we should be able to upgrade. I didn't agree with a lot of his play calling even with Dobbs.

I can't wait to see who CBJ picks up! I think we might take a slight hit on recruiting but it will definitely be better in the long run...

Yeah recruiting may take a Little hit. But I Think Most the big offense guys vols already have committed will stay. They just got another HB commit they kinda needed.

If they can keep the guys they have committed and get maybe one more OT then they will not take a hit at all. Waiting game now only time will tell.

I'd say Butch was pretty confident in him, he's been his OC for 8 seasons. I didn't really keep up much with him, but from what I read earlier the Vols rushed for 2261 yards his first season. That's the most since 2004, and the 3rd most in 16 seasons. He was also 4-1 after Dobbs came in. He might be more missed than you think.

There is also a rumor that TCU's OC might be in play. That would be HUGE!

Bajakian has ties to Bucs' coach Lovie Smith. He was an offensive coach with the Bears under Lovie Smith. I've been reading the reaction from Bucs' fans...they aren't all that happy, being that Smith seems to be hiring his former Bears staff. Bears were known for the defense, but their offense wasn't all that great.

It'll be interesting to see who CBJ gets. And how Bajakian fares in the NFL. With the Bucs, of all teams.

No great loss IMO. Most of Volnation wanted him gone midway through the season, now that they got their wish they are on the ledge fixing to leap.
