Florence man arrested for shooting neighbor’s house after Alabama loss

According to the Florence Police Department, the man had been involved in an argument with his neighbor about the Alabama versus Tennessee game Saturday.

Anyone that would fire a gun at a neighbor's house over a football game needs to be in prison. And if I was the DA; that's where that guy would be headed for a very long time.

But then, I feel the same about anyone that pulls a gun without cause. I've always said that anyone that displays a gun should do a minimum of 5 years, 10 years if the weapon is fired, and they shouldn't get out of prison if they shoot someone. The fact that some people have more of a will to live, or that one criminal is a worse shot than another, should not factor into that they shot a person.
