Game 2 was fun to watch. The Bama girl dove to catch a ball for the last out of the game.
Bama seemed to be a pitch behind yesterday and right on time today.
This series is tied 1-1 now.
Game 3 should be a good game tomorrow.

That was a great catch.

Rogers pitched for TN yesterday, while one of the freshman did today, and she showed her inexperience on the big stage.

Rogers will go tomorrow, I'm sure.

But, it should still be a great game.
 
I watched the Tennessee men and women basketball teams this weekend, and the baseball game against Texas A&M. I completely forgot about the softball series. I'll try to watch today, but the baseball team plays again at 1pm, 30 minutes after the softball game starts.
 
TN had two, 3-run homers to go from down 2-0 to up 6-2 in 6 straight batters.

But, Bama coach, smartly, protested the game because he claimed the girl who hit the second HR passed the runner on 1B, who wasn't sure the ball was going out and had returned to tag up. Replay confirmed it, so she was called out. So, the official scoring was a single, out by running error or something, but two RBIs. It was crazy.

Bama made a push late, but Rogers closed the door. I was hoping Shipman, who was on-deck, could've made the final out. She's the softball version of To'oto'o.
 
Tennessee usually has a really good softball team. Bama really hasn't. When Hemphill graduated, their hitting game took a huge nose dive. At the end of last season, a lot of the girls transferred and jumped ship. Fouts stuck around but a lot of people were wondering what was going on behind the scenes. Including me. Fouts is a really good person off the field too...she's a avid outdoors girl. Hunts and fishes. I wanted to take in a couple games before she's gone.
