OK, who thinks Nick is going to run it up on his alma mater tomorrow?

Run up? Probably not. I don't think they cover the 42-ish point spread. He's not, however, going to tell his 2nd and 3d team guys to back off, and if Kent State is as bad as some people are saying and can't stop the Alabama reserves running the ball, then it could still get real ugly.

Agree... he isn't gonna try but still may happen by default

Good article. Also compare Toledo to Kent St. KSU passes on hiring Saban (and I'm sure there are others they've passed on). The only time I remember KSU being any good was when Saban played there. They haven't been any good since Don James left for Washington. Now Toledo hired Saban, Pickel, and others. Will be interesting to see how Matt Campbell does but Iowa St will be a tough job. And Toledo has always had a lot of success in the MAC.

Respectable cupcake beat down. Congrats.

:bore: Meh, a cupcake win's a cupcake win. Kent State got a nice payday and Bama got to give some of their subs some live game experience. Hopefully Damien Harris' ankle injury isn't anything serious.
