bank fishing

Not being from Knoxville I am hoping to get suggestions on where to find places for decent crappie fishing from the bank.
Don't mind walking or hiking to access good areas.
Any suggestions welcome.

If you don't mind catching other fish besides crappie try lock side below Loudon or Melton hill dam, they are starting along with walleye and sauger once in awhile
