Finally nailed down our location. The first annual TTAS Banquet will be held at Cumberland Mountain State Park in Crossville on March 15th. The park has a campground and cabins if you would like to go ahead and make some reservations for your own comfort. Since this is a one day, all day event, I would suggest booking for Friday night so you could be there for a fresh start on Saturday Morning. I'm not sure, but I think Olde Fartes may be shooting that Sunday, so you might want to make a weekend of it.As a reminder, Ron LaClair of Super Shrew Longbows will be our keynote speaker. We will also have seminars throughout the day. We cannot shoot in the park but I will try to find a location for some shooting nearby.
 
Just heard from cheapshot. The old fartes are shooting the following day so plan to make a weekend of it. Tickets will sell out fast so contact either Chad or myself for how many you need for your group.
 
OK, after working through some rough spots, it seems everyone is fired up and on the same page! If you have any plans of attending the banquet in March, please shoot me an e-mail and let me know that you want to reserve tickets. We are looking at only one hundred available tickets. There will be workshops, seminars, food, music, bowmaking, flintknapping, auction items, photo contests, awards etc,etc.etc...
 
Sounds like fun. Could even a rookie recurve hunter come? I'm into it now for the first time after hunting with a compound several seasons.

Thanks! I think I'll wait until Jan. sometime to reserve any tics because I'm lookin at a job change soon, plus my two boys may want to come also. It's a schedule thing ya know?
By the way, I grew up in Sparta. Prolly played against Livingston (in various sports) 25 times from 5th grade to 12th.
We live in Nashville now...
