Barnett Brotherhood Crossbow

My wife and kids ordered me a Barnett Brotherhood for father's day and I just got it. I found some good reviews on it and the only bad I've heard is how loud it is. I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with one good or bad. This is my first crossbow I've been having shoulder problems so my compound is in retirement for now.

I have have two of the lesser models from Barnett. Honestly, I have found neither of them lacking. They do have a pretty loud "snap" when shot, but the arrow is blazing downrange so fast!

The only thing I've had to do with my crossbow is to fix the arrow retention spring. The even give you an extra one when you buy a crossbow from them.

I like the Barnett crossbows. I know that some folks consider them "entry level" but they will for certain shoot accurately and will kill an animal just as dead.

BTW most of the reviews I've seen online for that model are excellent! Not sure, but you could probably put some dampeners on it if it is too loud for you.

I put some bowjax on it over the weekend. They toned it down a little I'm still really happy with it.
