Barnett Predator

What kind of arrows are y'all shooting? Also how are the lines in your scope hitting? Using the rage 100gr practice head Mine was kind of weird, top line zero at 20, second zero at 30 but third was way high at 40 and hit dead on at 50 so for 40yards I gotta aim between 2nd&3rd line, ive never experienced that.

100gr Rage practice head and 22inch Barnett carbon bolts. Still working on mine. Had a mishap, waiting on my crank chocolate chip cookie device to show up. Haven't made it past 20 yards when the mishap occurred.

I'm not sure how much different the Predator is to my Barnett Jackall (150lb - 315fps), but I shoot 125grn Rage broadheads using the 3 dot sight that came with it. I sighted in top dot at 20 yds. At 30 yds, it's 2" low using top dot, 40 yds is right in middle / between 1st and 2nd dot, and 2nd dot is dead on at 50 yds. This is only at targets. Although I'm confident of my abilities to hit what I'm aiming at, I did experience my first x-bow deer jump the string at 42 yds ending in a bad shot, so I cap my kill range at 35 yards, and just aim my 1st dot a couple of inches high at those distances. In my estimation, that's pretty flat shooting, and with a 125 grn broadhead you get the extra punch at contact for deep penetration. Most of my kills have been complete pass through even at 30-35 yards. Hope this helps.

Got one. Its seems to be a winner. It is heavy and loud. With it being so front heavy, holding it steady is harder than I thought it would be. Going to try shifting my front grip out a ways and see if that makes it steadier. Mine is shooting 369fps so its really fast !
