I will be getting a lot more serious about bass fishing in the future. What are the must haves as far as lures and plastics I should have in my arsenal? I have quite a few , but want to see what I may be missing.

Flukes
Whacky Worms

The two most productive soft baits I have ever used.
Man and I have talked at length about what is the better of the two.
I gotta go with the whacky worm.

My other favorite is a pumpkinseed lizard with a chart tail, but I am sure you already have those.

The Ned rig has quickly became my favorite bait. It's amazing the amount of fish that thing catches, it catches big ones too.

My other go to baits are

Watermelon seed zoom super fluke

Zoom baby brush hog green pumpkin or June bug

Wacky worm

6" Watermelon red zoom lizard

Zoom fat Albert green pumpkin.

Well every stage has its better options.10 inch pumpkinseed and June bug red. Every crankbait you can get in sexy blue back (esp strike king 5's and lipless). Watermelon red brushhogs and black n blue jigs with blue trailers for bushes. At least for KY lake. Pickwick has a little different Approach. I don't throw any small plastics anymore

The more you buy the more you'll want. I pulled probably 30 pounds of plastic off my boat a couple years ago and gave them to school kids. Keep it simple.

One thing I will tell you since you say you like flukes is buy some pink ones and throw them weightless on about any river with smallmouth. Hold on.

Always tied on. Shallow squarebill, spinnerbait, swim jig, double fluke, frog , lipless, jerkbait, pig and jig, swimbait, Texas rig, Carolina rig.

Plastics on t and c rig, rage craw, rage bug

For summertime ledge fishing I will have the following tied on.

Carolina rig zoom lizard, brush hog or big worm

Zoom ole monster worm Texas rigged red bug or green pumpkin color

3/4 oz magnum shakey head paired with a zoom magnum trickworm green pumpkin or red bug color

3/4 oz foot ball jig either green pumpkin or black and blue with strike king rage craw trailer to match

Strike king 8xd or 10xd crankbait

I catch more bass on a whacky rigged Senkon than anything!

Wasn't familiar with the Ned rig. Been researching it. What are you guys using for it, the jig head and tail? Size?
They make heads and grubs specifically for it.

Look for the zman shroomz jig head and the zman finesse TRD. That'll get you started vb

Fat Albert green pumpkin 1/8oz jig head is great this time of year (pics from last year)

I have only fished Kentucky lake or Barkley Lake

Springtime
Texas rigged Green pumpkin Brush Hog
Black n electric blue tube jig
An ole school crippled killer in white or black
Chartreuse buzzbait

Ledge fishing
10" culprit worm
Carolina rig with a floating soft plastic
Spro crankbait
Big ole ledge buster spinner bait

Thanks fellows for sharing. This old dog may be learning a few new tricks. I have a pretty good selection of nearly everything mentioned, except for the Ned rig and wacky worms. That will be solved shortly.
I am over prepared for trout ( Ruger can vouch for that). I probably need to take out an insurance policy
on that tackle bag or bags. I just needed to get a few more things for bass.
