Bass Pro Shops Website

Cabela's was great, and some aspects of it still are. Bass Pro is terrible, and their terrible ways are being filtered down through the entire enterprise.

Bass Pro Shop has been screwing our brains out for years. Refuse to step foot in the place or order anything from them. Most of us didnt realize how outrageous their price prices are unti other options
Opened. Academy sports for example is three and four dollars a box cheaper on Remington core
Lokt ammo in 308 and 243. They have not been a good place place to get good prices since they were a mail order
Only company.

I've never thought much about it but y'all are right it's pretty bad. I have ordered a couple things off cabelas website premerger/buyout but don't think I've ever bought on bass pro's. It is painful to use.

Wonder if catalogs will ever make a comeback? A man might make some money by putting one together and mailing it out to the older crowd. Whenever they send in an order just hop online, find the cheapest price & have it sent to their house? May have a few good years there...

My BIL gave me a Bass Pro gift card for Christmas and I was in there yesterday looking for some round balls for my muzzle loaders. BP price was nearly twice the price than Midsouth Shooters Supply. I asked the guy at the gun counter if they price match and he said they do. So I pulled up the MSSS website on my phone and got the round balls for the same price. BP certainly doesn't advertise that they will price match.

I really hate that they bought Cabelas. You could order from Cabelas with free shipping and no tax. I haven't ordered anything from Cabelas since.

I'm in the process of re-working an old boat. I've been trying to check items and prices on their website with little success. The first page of items is OK. But, the rest of the pages on an item don't even load with the info. The first time or two I passed it off to them doing maintenance. But, it continues. It doesn't happen to me on other companies websites, so I don't think it is something my computer isn't doing.

Cabelas used to be the FIRST place I looked for an item. Then, their customer service tanked to the degree that they are now the last place I shop. Bass Pro has always been the home of cheaply made and overpriced hunting and fishing goods.
