I was going to buy the R10, but this price makes me rethink that since it comes with 6 arrows and upgraded scope.

In all transparency, I have always had compound and do not know much about crossbows. Thanks for the help!

A lot of the guys like Ravin crossbows. Personally Ravin has had some issues with their newer bows having to recall them. Not bashing Ravin in anyway at all. Good on them for fixing the problem. But I would go with the R10. It has been around so the kinks have been worked out. You can chocolate chip cookie and decock it with the handle, and it shoots 420 fps, only 30 fps slower than the R29. Now to be fair I am a Tenpoint guy but if I was buying a Ravin I would go with something that has been proven successful. Just my .02
