Be honest, in the last play of the game, were you

I posted in the other thread that I was at a wedding. Up 17 everybody was saying we had it in the bag, I kept watching. Up 11 with 4:00 left they said it's over, I said nope not yet it's not. Up 5 & they recover that kick and I looked at them and said I told you, I've seen this fu**ing movie before! I about died when he got that kick. I won't say I thought it was cursed or that we were beat, but I knew I had to see 00:00.

When we were up (I think) it was 38-21 maybe?

I guess I still looked fairly concerned because the wife looked at me and said "what is wrong with you, y'all are gonna win" I said "I'm fine babe"

Then The tension started to build as the score got closer and they got the onside kick….

I ERUPTED when we got the interception and she simply said "you need intervention"
😂😂

She is a football fan so it's not like she is clueless and doesn't understand football at all

I text this to my SMS group: "That's what happens when you try not to lose. You lose."

Tennessee could've ended the thread by putting their foot on the throat but apparently Fat Phil coached the last 5 minutes. That disgraceful debacle was textbook Phil Fulmer. Milk the clock. Try not to lose.

:D Liar!

I was watching with my middle daughter (who has become a huge fan, buying her own tickets to several of the remaining games etc).

After they got the onside kick, I looked at her and loudly said, "They're gonna beat us agaiiiinnnn"!

I expected her to try to comfort me, but oh no, she SCREAMED, "Don't DO THAT, you infuriate me!"

I then realized that she is, indeed, my daughter!

Imagine if FL's coach wouldn't have gone for it on 4th down, like 6x and instead kicked field goals. They'd have won easily.
Poor coaching decisions imo.
I think they went for it on 4th down during their opening drive attempt.

They did and left 3pts on the board. He was coaching desperate/ scared IMO went for it on there own 27 as well and he coached that way from the kickoff.

Look at the brightside a top 20 team that converted five! 4th downs still couldn't keep up with UT.
