I have seen some very unique ways that many of the members here have create to display their beards/spurs.

I was going through my hunting gear this weekend and found my stash of beards and spurs.

What are some the ways you guys would recommend that is an inexpensive but nice way to display your ropes and spikes.

I really like the beard in the shot shell, but how do you incorprate the spurs.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

I usually buy a Hunters Sp. fan plaque pretty cheap. I will put up the fan and Then I get my empty shell cut it down and place the beard in it. I use a hot glue gun to attach this to the plaque. I then glue the spurs as-well. I am out of town for the weekend. When I get back I will post pics. Many different ways though.

This is how I do it. The first pic is the three I have killed so far this season. Just get you a dremel tool, some leather boot lace, and a hot glue gun. I found this old piece of barnwood to hang mine on.

Im gonna do mine somewhat like gobblrgttr. Put the beard in the shell and string it up with the spurs and then hang it in the middle of the wall plaque which I will be making for the tail fan. Not gonna buy a tail mount gonna make my own.

This looks great. Thanks for the information. One quetion, how do you get the spurs to look that good? They appear to have been polished.

I spray a light coat of shellac on mine.

Very nice !! Looks great
I do mine like yours with fishing line but will change to leather (looks alot nicer).
I just had a brainstorm of "not" cutting the shell casing off and writing the details of the hunt on it with a permanent marker !! Guess you would have to use a paint pen on a black shell but it should work the same !! I like the idea :)
