whats the little gold pieces you used for the beards?
the brass from the shells I used to kill the birds with. Except for bird #3 (far left) I lost the shell in the tall grass so I used another shell.

Thanks y'all I appreciate it.

CountryBoy053 I strung them together and put the string through small eye screws that go into the board and the shotshell brass.

Deerhunter10 it's from an old shed I found in one of my hunting spots. So it's real barn wood that came from fairly close to where I killed my 3rd and 4th birds this year.

Plaque looks good. Thats what I planned on doing starting this year. I am taking the years best fan and string up the years beards and spurs so to display each years kill. Great job

Nice cat! I'll have to post mine... I did a complete frame for a first time hunter i took and he killed. It's an Old rough cut lumber framed around the fan and can hang the beard/spurs around the frame but he never seemed interested in it after I finished it. I think he got spoiled because he killed a good Tom with in 30 minutes of his first turkey hunt ever, so I'm going to keep it to display the Turks I kill when I go on an occasional turk hunt for myself..,
