Beards falling apart

Anybody got any ideas on how to keep beards from falling apart? I have some that are at least 12-13 years old that keep dropping hairs. I have them in shotgun hulls and last year added some hot glue but they continue to loose hairs.

First, make sure that your not dealing with cloth moths, you can google them to see if you have signs of infestation www.bugspray.com/article/clothesmoths.html

I always treat mine with meat packing salt and borax

Mine are hot glued inside the shell too and never had an issue.

i only have two that i killed this yr and i gooped them inside my shell brass. i bet u they dont go nowhere unless something cuts it below where its gooped.

Get some Elmer's glue, mix it with water until it is fairly thin (2parts glue to 1 part water). Pour that mixture down into the shells and let dry. It will dry clear. I use this to keep teeth in the skulls I prepare. I mix it and paint it onto the inside of the teeth and fill any spaces so they don't fall out.

Put twenty mule team borax on them and let set for a week or so after you kill one, then some hot glue at base and you should not have any problems.
