Beautiful Dec day

It doesn't get much better in December. Light winds, nearly 70 degrees, most people were other places and a few crappie and bass cooperated.

It was nice on the east side as well. Even in the mountains. Except apparently, lots of folks thought like me, that nobody would be there! I still managed a few fish. Beautiful pic!

Yes sir...wife and I put the freshly spooled catfish rods and reels in the truck, and set out to see if the blues would cooperate. We thought we would have it to ourselves. Nope. Lots of people fishing today. The ramps here looked like a spring weekend day instead of a Tuesday in late Dec from the boats/trailers. We had several hit our cut baits but only hooked up with 1 dink blue.

It was still nice 3 days after Christmas. I counted 40 boats around us. Fish were biting too. We caught 52 crappie.
