Looking at branching out and hunting some different areas this year and I saw these two on the TWRA map. They're not too far from me and I'm sure a man could find a couple birds on them if he put the time in. I was just wondering how they were in terms of pressure? Is there a hunter on every tree in the mornings?

Yanahli seems to be getting hunted harder every year by people from all over, especially during spring turkey. It does have some birds. I've never hunted beaverdam creek but have kind of wanted to check it out myself.

Beaver Dam Creek in Hickman Co? If so I have hunted there quite a bit and it is really good. Not that many people on it when I go over. It is a long drive for me so I only get to go a couple weekends a year.

Haven't hunted Yanahli but I have had success every time on BDC in Hickman Co

Personally, I would delete this immediately :) !

yea there's plenty of property on yanahli too and I used to always post how good it was until I noticed that more people started showing up each year because they saw people post about it on the Internet...

It sounds like I am gonna have to plan a few trips to both before April then so I can get some boots on the ground

If Yanahali gets any more pressure than last year, be sure to pack your kevlar vest! I decided it isn't even worth it this year. The frustration of hunters coming into all but 1 of my set ups last year over the course of 6 days did me in. I was literally scared of being shot on more than one occasion.

It appears that TWRA has discontinued the Quota Hunts on Yanahli. Is this correct??
never knew yanahli had quota hunts. Not as long as I've hunted there

Yanahli is same as statewide season and gets hunted hard. There are plenty of birds, but extremely sensitive to pressure.

So, what's the easiest way to get to this Beaver Dam Creek WMA anyway :D ?

You lost me at kevlar vest haha. If Yanahli is that bad,I may have to cross that one off the list!
