Dont think Ive ever seen teh number of birds in flocks liek I have this year, also seen more flocks, maybe this years poults done better than thought.

I've been shocked by how many large rafters I've seen! On five separate occasions I've seen large winter flocks, two of them pushing 80+ turkeys. I'm pumped!

I haven't seen one in Giles county since mid June. Flock of six, poult-less hens used my cow pastures some in late spring early summer. No turkeys seen in my area since then.

Even though they migrate alot over the course of the year, still worried that numbers are way down.

I have seen some big groups here this winter. One group had to be close to 200. They covered half a 40acre feild.

As a kid I never thought ther would be turkeys as thick as they are now days, back then (80s) if anyone even seen a track it was big news.

Yeah there are a few places not far from us that has zero turkeys. But it seems like they are spreading out more here in Grundy.
