From my tree stand at 50 yards I seen what looked like 4 hens with 16 poults!!!! The surviaval rate of the new hatch is still looking strong.

I shot and missed twice!!! haha lol

Also, seen 1 hen in a field with 8 poults the other day as well.

i have saw more poults this year than ever before, not sure if it's cause i drive a longer distance or what but nonetheless i've seen a butt load

Bring on the poults. Future long beards for sure. We have been seen alot turkeys here in weakley co as well.

The more the merrier.

Next time wait until they're bunched up together before you shoot. Maybe if you miss the one you're aiming at you'll hit another one instead. :D j/k Never shot at one with my bow but want to in a bad way.

I'm seeing them every day I'm out in the tree...and even when I'm not they come thru my lower field. Most are poults are hens but the first tom is going to test my new DXT...

Seen 17 turkeys while deer hunting yesterday evening. I bet come spring they will be no where to be seen!!!

I've been seeing a ton of turkey out here at AEDC as well. A few years ago on the opening day of muzzleloader season I was on our farm deer hunting and saw two big toms out in the field below me gobbling their heads off and strutting around. Is that normal for the fall?

My buddy saw 4 toms and 12 hens, on our place yesterday, at least loosely together. I suppose the start of a winter flock.
