I first started getting picks of this deer in 2014 ,I got the day pic in Jan of 2015 he was beat up pretty bad, no picks in the fall of 2015 . I might have seen him once but I'm not for sure.last pick was from this fall.

I would like to know how old people think he was in the 1rst pic because I'm trying to decide if he was 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 since that was two years earlier that will help me decide if he was 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 at time of harvest

What a brute!!! I would say 2 1/2 in first picture but I am by no means an expert

I think 2 1/2 in first pic. And he looks like he has been through a war in the second pic. Congrats on a great buck.

If first pic was taken within 2 weeks of the start if your local rut, I'd say he was 2.5 in the first pic. If taken in Sept or Oct... or in late Dec, I'd say he's 3.5 in the first pic

I too concur with this statement as well. In the daytime pic (to me) he looks unhealthy and possibly a jaw injury of some sort? Maybe why he put on the extra abnormal points on his right side. just a thought although I could be totally wrong.

the daytime pick seems to show an injury to the left side of the deer's face just above the gum line. Deer looks like he was rode really hard and put away wet. I think he is saying "Wow I am not gonna tell Mr BigDeer his hocks are sagging ever again".
