20# 1" spurs and almost 10" beard.
When I went in I spooked 3 off roost.
At 8:30 I had two juveniles walk by within 15 yards. About 9:30 I heard a gobbler to my right but never saw him. At 1 I had a hen go buy that I bet weighed 5 pounds more than my gobbler, she was fun! As soon as she got a little past me and picked up my slate call, we both purred and clucked , never got alarmed just kept her same pace.
The gobbler taught me 2 lessons, the right gun and patience.... he was very alert compared to the others, I had my beed on him for 15 minutes and my arms were killing me. No cover no decoy I just sat still 10 hours.
Also add it was hard to stand after I shot him, ass and back were killing me.... better chair and shotgun!
