Anyone ever hear this guy talk about turkey hunting (before he died)? I caught him one time in a seminar and he was funny.

Yes I have, have some of his deer vcr tapes, always liked to watch them, big fella, had a bald spot on his head as he would joke about saying he had scratched his hair off trying to figure out the turkeys and deer over the years.

I will never forget the video of him shooting a deer with a bow... or shooting AT it.... with a grunt call still in his mouth AND around his neck. LOL

blleeep bleep bleep beep beep beep LOL Funny stuff.

The great late Ben Rogers Lee was one of a kind. I'm sure he is up on heaven sharing tips on deer and turkey hunting. Still have one of his VCR tapes with nothing to play it in.

I have his two set cd set.I listen too it all year. One cd is his turkey hunting stories, the other is about the wild turkey. You can still buy it through midwestturkeycalls.com

I learned more from his old cassette tape Turkey Stories than any one place in all my years of hunting. The man not only knew how to hunt em he knew how to kill em. He would put all these clowns on TV today to shame.

Listened to him a lot, and really like his hunting tapes. Don't know what kind a guy he was, but he was a true turkey killer with a call, camo, bow/gun, no blinds no decoys.

Way back in 1984 when I first got the disease called turkey hunting, Ben Lee was one of the best around. I had a cassette tape of his that Id give a pretty penny to be able to remember who I loaned it to so I could get it back! I still remember him talking about skipping school to go turkey hunting and one of the first things he said in it was that "If you are going to start turkey hunting, youre going to need 2 things, a good job and a good woman, because if you dont have them, youre going to lose them both!" Truer words were never spoken. Im still married to the same woman 31 years later and Im self employed so I guess I got lucky!
