Benelli M2 guys, got a question.

So, I got a guy wanting to trade me a Benelli M2 Field, Realtree camo with a 21" barrel. Had less than 10 rounds through it. Great looking and feeling gun but I have never shot a M2. I have shot dump trucks loads through SBE 1's and 2's but never an M2. With a 21" barrel this could turn out to be a deadly little gobbler getter in the future.

If any of you guys shoot a M2 could you give me your opinions on them?

the only real different is its a 3" gun and the barrel connects to the receiver (like most all shotguns) rather then the top of the receiver being part of the barrel like the SBE2. the action and stock are all the same as the SBE2 really.

Really love my M2. I shoot the Hevi shot magnum blends and hevi 13 turkey choke. No issues at all with it

My M2 21" camo is a keeper- it is so light and handy. This is my 2nd season with it and 5 longbeards have gotten to ride home in the truck. Cousin has one also in black and feels the same about his-killed 4 last season. In fact I got a 20.6# 10" beard with it today. Go for it, the 21" barrel is perfect imo.
