Who all hunts with the benelli novas. My step dad is going to let me use his for turkey huntin and i was wandering what shot the best through it and what inch

Been hunting with a Benneli for 3 years now. Shoot a true glow gobble stopper choke .660 and federal #5 or #6 in 3.5in mag and have killed birds out to 55 yrds. I think federal shells are the best and the 3 inch would be good if you don't want to take the kick. I just bought a kicks gobblin thunder .655 choke to try this year but I guarrentee you that benneli will kill em dead.

Yea I'm 45 and still only shoot em when something is on the other end. for a 14 yr old that would be good. Just remember to shoot what make you comfortable. Have you ever turkey hunted before?

Twice last year.I have a 20 gauge I use it in alabama.So advice would be nice.I have a pop up blind so thats probably gonna be what i hunt out of.

Just got me an older sbe spit. I love the feel of this gun so far. About to order me a rhino .660 and pick up some nitros. I am gonna have it dipped after turkey season in Bottomland camo

I shoot a primos jellyhead .660 out of my sbe2 with the 4x5x7 nitros. Here is my 35 yard pattern with it. Nevermind my pulling it off just a little. The Rem nitros are not the same nitros that everyone talks of.

Ditto. They have a good price on them but worth it.

Out of my SBE II i use a Rhino choke and nitro shells. Awesome combo.

The new Winchester Extended range shells did well also. Those run about 50 bucks a box as well :crazy:

I hunt with Benelli M2 , 12 gauge with Indian Creek 665 choke.
using Hevi 13, 2oz , #6

Benelli 20 gauge Indian Creek 555 choke
and use Hevi 13, 1 1/4oz, #6
They work good for me.

If you are talking about the price of Nitro shells @ 7 to 8 dollars each. Not really. Look at it this way. Given the awesome pattern that everyone is getting with them they are well worth the money. If you are fortunate enough to kill the limit (4 Gobblers) that is only 28 to 32 dollars. IMO that is money well spent. :grin:

i kill 3 or 4 most years with 10 dollar a box winchester from wal-mart havnt lost one yet.
