CCI mini mags are great and shoot reliably in semi autos. That's what I stock for 22 LR

Augulia subsonic 38 grn hp. That round has consistently shot better in every rifle and pistol Ive ever used it in than any other Ive used.

I don't know about best, but I like Mini-Mags.

I have chosen to use the Match ammo that my rifle is the most accurate with and hollow point those bullets with my Neal Waltz bullet profiling die. As I work through several varieties of 22 ammo, other that the already preferred brand, I may find some more economical ammo that shoots just as well after being hollow pointed. Hope to be testing about 4 varieties soon....... CCI SV, Norma Tac 22, CCI Blazer and a couple of others.
