Best Hunt In a While

Had a great hunt this morning and never pulled the trigger.

Had a warn doe (not hot but warm) hang around me within 50 yards for well over an hour. She had the biggest buck I've see on my own property ever (3.5 year old with a half rack), a three point, two spikes, and a couple more I could not see good in the thicket. He would run the other bucks off and they would all come back.

Only my second hunt this year and not very many the last two of three years. What a blessing.

I need to remember how good it is to sit in the woods and quit worrying about why I'm not seeing deer. Great reminder!
