Just got the new TC Pro Hunter 209x50 for Christmas. Not only that, but sittin on top was a Bushnell 3200 Elite 3x9x40. I could not be happier. Now I just need to know what load to start out with. If anyone has one that shoots a tight pattern. Please let me know what you are shooting. Thanks Ryan

Hodgon makes Triple 7 pellets in 30 grain and 50 grain. I use two 30 grain pellets and one 50 grain pellet. Not sure on mixing loose power with a pellet. Fact that the pellet has a hole thru the middle, which would be plugged up by loose powder, might hinder performance.

How much of a difference will 10 grains of powder make? I just talked to a guy that has the exact set up and he is shooting 120 grains of powder and a 250 grain shockwave bullet

I use the Jim Shockey's "Gold" sticks for 50 cal. each stick is 50 grains. 2 sticks and a 250 grain shock wave and i get a real tight group. Does a great job putting them on the ground aswell.

browning slayer i would start out at about 90 grains then shoot a few rounds then do the same for 100 and maybe 110 and then see which i thought was the more accurate load and that would be the one i would use.
dont worry ,100 grains will kill a deer easily at 100 to 150 yards.
i know a guy that shot 50 grains this year and killed a nice 8 point at about 75 yards.

2 50 grain 777 pellets with Barnes Expander MZ 300 grain using MMC thin sabots. Cloverleafs at 100 yards. Slight drop and a little more open at 200.
