Best place to get a bow tuned in TN

Where is the best place or person to take a bow to have it properly tuned either in TN or nearby that I dont have to mail it to somebody?

Does John from EWA still work on bows? He rebuilt mine after they closed EWA, but that's been probably 5 years ago.

U-Need-It-Archery over in Sparta is the closest to you, and they do pretty good work.

The only place around Nashville that I would go if I didn't do my own work is EnergyWave Archery in Hermitage! Matt is not only a great guy, and fellow TNDeer member, but he is one heck of a bowsmith and string maker!

Thanks Guy. I will be sure to check these places out. Ive had some shady dealings in the past with things not getting done right and ran into a bunch of problems. I just wanted to get some opinions

What tuning are you looking for ? To truly tune a bow you need to shoot it trough paper yourself and make adjustment. Buy the book Tuning your board heads and that will tell you everything you need to know.

x2 on Energy Wave bowstrings in Hermitage. He took the time to find the perfect tune on my Hoyt. He has a draw machine to check cam synch which is essential for two cam bows. Plus he makes excellent strings so the bow "stays" in tune.

I have learned to tune my own equipment. In the long run, I think everyone should learn their own equipment. But I do understand why some would not.
