Was cold this morning so I turned the heater on in the truck and put the floor vents on.

When I got to my hunting spot the string on my Matthews FX had melted.

Need to get a new string pronto and wondered what was the best string out there?

I want something that wont stretch causing my bow to go out of tune.

Thanks

The best I have used would be from Bucknasty made of 452x. You won't get one quick though. At least probably not real quick anyway. If you need one quick you might want to look at Vapor Trail. I've heard a lot of good things about them and they get them out pretty quick. I recently ordered a string and cable from wicked1. They told me turn around to shipping is 2-3 days. They way I took that is it would ship in 2-3 days. Sunday will be 2 weeks since I ordered it and I still haven't got it.

I've never used one. From what I've read, they stretch a lot. Also, I think the serving separates on the cable pretty easy.

Wow did your truck catch on fire? What type of heater do you have in a truck that can melt a bow string?

No kidding. I need to look up under the dash and figure out how that happened before my carpet and floor mats melt.

Call and get a wicked1string and cable set for $45.00 just mention Alexis Seibert. They will rush it to you in the next day or so.
You won't find a better string period! I love them!

That may be how fast they usually get them out. They said mine was supposed to ship today. Tomorrow will be two weeks from the time I ordered. I was told it would be 2-3 days.

I haven't had any trouble with the Zebra Barracuda strings. had one on for 3 years and it never stretched. My 3 yr old cable did stretch when I was shooting in Illinois in 104 degree weather.

HAHA i am still wondering how freaking hot is your heater geez! you need to start putting some eggs and bacon down there the next time you meet me out there so we can have breakfast on the way to the stand!!!

No kidding. Maybe put a roast and taters in my boot for lunch.

Are the zebra strings any good?

I have shot zebra strings for 3 years now. Work fine for me, I replace my string every other year, always have no matter wut brand.

Any string will stretch, if they don't, they break.

I had a string put on mine a few years ago.
Worm put it on. I think it was a winners choice.
It was either that or a zebra.

Either one will be fine.
