Catching up yesterday's Sports Source and they said BHH has entered the portal. Hate to hear that, would have been fun to see him develop & grow. Maybe he'll stick around but I guess I doubt it at this point.
There was a stretch in the first half of the SEC tourney game against UK where him & Tshiebwe were battling on both ends and it was fun to watch.
I'm no old man yet by any means but college sports just ain't the same. Get off my lawn and all that jazz I guess…

I hate what the transfer portal is doing to the sport. Makes it too easy for a player to ignore his commitment and take off to another School when competition gets tough or playing time is limited
I agree but if the coaches can do it then why not the athletes? A coach sits in their living room and says he'll be there the next 4 years and 2 weeks later is gone. I don't know the answer but it's becoming pro sports and I don't like it.

If the head coach leaves, the players should have the opportunity to transfer and not sit out a year, or if the program receives a NCAA penalty (joke), and the player wasn't involved, they should be able to leave.

Yeah I don't know any answers either but like you all I'm just not thrilled with the direction.
And not just the transfer rule more the combination of all these different things.

So if a HC don't up hold his end of the deal and jumps ship right in the middle of a contract that's still OK? Gets to do so without penalty happens every year in all sports.

How about when teams let a player commit in a class then they realize they need to open up a spot for a better player so they tell that 3* that has been committed for 6 months to bounce. That fair or right? Coaches do that the time.

a player can't do that exact same thing without becoming penalized? Unless he watches his coach do so first? Your commitment should be to the university, and program not the head coach in the first place.

Something still don't seem rignt.
