Well according to the Twitter Big10 just pulled the plug on Fall Football. They are supposedly going to try a Spring season.

BIG 10 done for the year, next to go will be the PAC 12. If the other three conferences play the chances the SEC brings another Championship in is pretty high.

Iowa football parents want answers and they've gone as far as drafting an open letter to the Big Ten strongly encouraging the conference to reconsider its postponement of the fall sports calendar.

It will be interesting to hear their response. It is not logical to have all students on campus(including players), dorms open, cafeteria open, teams will still practice, workouts etc..yet no football games. Purdue is supposed to have their largest incoming Freshman class in history. Really all the Big10 did was ban football games.

The president's only care about the money. 18000 students on campus living on campus and using their facilities. They don't care about health they want your money

And the plan is to play in the spring. Hopefully covid will ease up by then and it will be a safer environment.
Not directed at you RB, but I don't understand where this theory came from and why it has any merit at this point. The "experts" said the same thing in March about COVID possibly lessening/disappearing this summer. I would not hang my hat on any of any of these "pie in the sky" back to normal projections. The guys/gals I know in the medical field do not think "the current COVID-19 threat" is going away any time soon.

How does playing football increase the chance of Myocarditis? Wouldn't football players face the same risk of developing Myocarditis after contracting COVID-19 no matter if they were playing football or not playing football. Its not a logical argument.
