Was greeted to an old acquaintance a moment ago. Double brows was out running the field behind my house. Came through twice. Hes not an easy deer to pass but i think he is 4.5 max. Would live to see him next yr. i have had lots of encounters with him and its not getting easier to pass him unfortunately

Yeah, my mature bucks are looking rough. Hes actually holding up better than most

I passed one like that a couple weeks ago…may not kill a deer here in Tennessee due to it but glad I passed him. Brown it's down on my last Tennessee hunt Monday though on some public lol

This deer is a homebody. If he makes it for 2 more weeks, i like his chances of staying put till next yr
 
Looks like a wound high on the loins, possible grease shot back in archery or from fighting. You still have him there though, hope you tag him next season.
