Didn't even hear a roost gobble. Hunted same farm as the last two days first, and nothing at all. Did see where the local trespasser had gone up the ridge on his four wheeler after I hunted yesterday morning  . He actually had a saw and cut logs across the trail and blazed some new trail to connect to the property he comes in from...which he doesn't have permission for either. These two farms used to be loaded loaded with deer and turkey till the last two years which is when I started seeing this one particular guy each deer and turkey season. My landowners are going to ask him about it since I have no proof as far as pictures go.

After that I took another dad and son to a different farm for a mid morning hunt and struck out there too.

Things are still in general very quiet on all the farms I hunt. Gobbling is spotty and visual contact is even less including hens. Seeing VERY FEW hens so far. I think things will change in a week or two, but now I have used my allotted vacation days for turkey hunting :( so it'll be on Mondays only now.

Stick with it, hopefully it'll break free.

On the trespasser. We used to take a piece of plywood and Drive hundreds of nails through it. Then take that and cover it with leaves on the four wheeler trail they used. Needless to say it left more than one atv stranded with 4 flat tires. We'd then call the local sherif and have them come get it. When the owner went to claim it they were cited. It's underhanded and dirty but in one season we eliminated all poaching. This was in Alabama.

Hang in there... Trail cameras for sure. Then when you know what to look for drive around a bit and get a photos of the truck and/or atv. Cops can follow the plates to the owner and you have proof.
