Are there any really large size targets out there that don't cost a fortune? Bag or layered? Who has some thoughts on this?

You can make your own. I have 2 that I have made. They work AWESOME and stop arrows from my Mathews Monster VERY well.
You can fill it with old cloths, sheet, old target guts..just agbout anything..

Here's a couple pics in the building process. The pic of the arrow shot the target wasn't even completely stuffed yet (about halfway..and you can see how well it stop my arrow from my monster.

Thanks Rick, I've heard about those but never read good or bad about them. I can't see the pic at work.

My wife is a good shot, but sometimes gets tired and pulls the shot. At $9 a pop it's starting to hurt.

Has anybody on here tried a blob target out of Georgia? Good combo targets for FPs or BHs. Ugly as sin, but they work well. Heavy as a pile of bricks though.

I have one of the blob targets. I've had it for 2yrs now. I spray painted dots on mine. The center dot has just now wore out. Its about 3 and a half foot tall by 3 and a half foot wide and bout 8 inches thick. So you can amagine how many dots I have on there. I have seen them round They are not as tall or wide as mine but they looked to about 2 foot thick. I have mine proped up against the longest part of a wall with no windows around on my house. It didn't take long before I was going through the target and hitting the wall. I ended up putting an old block 4x4 behind it to keep them from hitting the wall. I do shoot were the block is not behind the target and after 2 years I still haven't got any complete pass throughs on the target. I had the block 4x4 before this one and I was shooting complete pass throughs within 6 months. There is a place in White County called Sparta Sporting Goods that carries them. I give 75 bucks for mine. Best 75 bucks I've spent on a Target. By the way I shoot 6 to 8 months out of the year.

I shoot the neon colored golf tees. You can get a whole bag for a couple bucks at walmart. :)
