Wide buck! In the last 12 years I've seen 2 bucks I regret not shooting that weren't at least 8 pointers. One was a huge wide heavy beamed 6 pointer. The other looked just like that 6 but was only a 4 pointer. I had both wide open within 25 yards with a rifle in my hands.

The big four showed up this morning at 9. He never did present a great shot but the wife tried a quartering away shot and we think she might have grazed his shoulder. Found a little bit of blood where he crossed the creek but looked for four hours and never found him

that's a bummer but I certainly happens. Better luck next time!
