bird shut down?

Heard them gobbling this afternoon in the wind and pouring down rain. It's GO TIME for the ole boys, they're gonna get while the gettin is good.

My experience with the wind and gobbling is that they'll still gobble just as good, just harder to hear of course, could be different in different regions of the state I guess. But as you stated you won't know if you don't go.

They were gobbling this morning. Two boys in my first block class took some down. Nothing like cleaning burds in Health class when its 28 outside. Principal caught us, but we gave him half a breast and he went on his merry way.

do you think this high wind and freezing temps will cause lock jaw ?

Nope. They are still bunched up. Seen three longbeards and three hens this morning. Tried to make a set-up and cut them off. But they got there before i did.

Birds have been vocal in the mornings but not so much the rest of the day around here.
