Black Coyote

In no rush to make it to the woods because my area doesn't heat up until the last 2 weeks of the season, but have saw this guy running around the last couple days and this morning shot him in the cow field about 60 yards from the back door. First solid black coyote I've saw alive. Gonna get a howling shoulder mount on him. Pretty solid black male.

That's awesome! I seen one but I kept thinking it was some kind of dog or something and didn't shoot it. By the time I realized it was for sure a yote, he gave me the slip! Lol

Same thing here man. Was shooting my bow one evening last week and saw something back in the field and grabbed the binos thinking it was a dog. Hopped in the truck and drove down the road for a closer look and it was him. It's been on since then haha.

Beautiful dog! I shot one a couple years ago and he had that same white chest patch. Came in running to rattling antlers.

I ve killed several of them. They are pretty. I did a pedestal mount on one and had the hides tans on 2 more.
