So it was very busy today once I got back from the woods. I didn't have time to shoot until dark so I had a great blank bale session.

Anyone else enjoy blank bale? I turn on some music and zone out, feeling every shot. I get a lot out of it. When done regularly it allows me to focus on aiming vs the release.

I wouldn't be worth chit with the hinge if I didn't blank bale.

I blank bale all the timelove it. You guys that are hinge shooting are much better than I, I save that for targets that don't move and don't get my heart rate up to 300bpm....LOL :D

Oh I don't want no part of hunting with a hinge. I want to be able to let one go quick if needed. I don't want a hinge when a 160 class buck is easing through brush and he pauses for 2 seconds in a small gap I can thread an arrow through. I want to slap that sucker and let her rip.

I experimented a while back just how accurate my shooting is when I purposely punched the trigger. I see no major loss in accuracy out to 40 yards. Granted I wouldn't want to become a "puncher" full time but when it's needed I can definitely hit the vitals of a whitetail.

Back when I did some durability testing for a bow company I had to shoot a hundred arrows a day in the middle of winter . I just setup my target at close range and closed my eyes to focus on my form .

You punch one hard enough there will be a significant loss of accuracy! Unless of course that is your style of controlled punching.
