Was fortunate enough to harvest my second target buck this year - Blaze. This is one of my most favorite times of the year to hunt right after the second rut has ended. Mature deer will expose themselves trying to get calories after a few weeks of chasing. He came out at 3pm to a micro plot of Black Oats and winter forage mix planted in the spring.

Stud! I appreciate the good quality pics you took with him. This year I have made myself slow down a bit savor the moment and make sure I get some good pics when I finally have been blessed with a big one!

I couldn't see the split G2 at first pic. I've yet to kill one with a split G2 it's on my bucket list!

He's a rockcrusher for sure! Congrats!

Thank you for the kind words. I take a lot of pride in taking good quality pictures. It is always nice to reflect on the hunt and present the animal with honor for their sacrifice. I'm really wanting to kill one with a drop tine!!
