Blind?

I use killzone blinds. They are not the best made quality wise but really nice to hunt out of and at $109 for a hub style I can replace one every few years if need be. It might pay off to buy a double bull in the long run but they are pretty high.
I have one but not the hub type, the dome deal. Paid $59.95 on ebay a year ago. Lasted one season good, and will probably outlast me. I also have 3 outhouse types, that I paid between 40 and 50 bucks for at various times depending on who had them on sale. They have lasted for several years. A turkey cannot tell the difference between them and a double-bull!! lol

I have an ameristep bonecollector hubstyle blind and it's easy to backpack in. I've had it since 2010 and it travels all over with me.

Rugged, long lasting and all that stuff. lol My son has left one out since the 2010 deer season on our place. You could go up tomorrow and crawl into it, and its like he put it up day before yesterday. $50 outhouse blind.

Blinds are a essential tool for hunting with kids. I use one from time to time when hunting alone but it sure does weigh you down. I have two. One being a Double Bull Darkhorse and the other is a el cheapo hub style from Rural King that I don't remember the name. I got the second because I have friends that I loan stuff out to and they are not getting my DB! After hunting out of both I'd have to say yes, the DB is worth the extra money. You can still kill plenty out of the cheapo and it has lasted for 5 years already. If you want a DB you can go to Archery Talk classifieds and get one for about $250 brand new right now since they discontinued the Darkhorse. There are things I like about the DB and a bunch of other blinds have features I like about them and some things I don't like about a DB. I don't think any one blind has it all. My biggest complaint about the DB....weight. I don't know the spec but I'd say it's about 25# carry weight.

Get on sportsmansguide and look at their hub style. I got dad one for 79 bucks. Its in its second year of use and still going strong. Heck for that price if it falls apart tommorrow it was worth its money.

If your gun hunting check out one of the smaller Eastman blinds. Plenty of room for you and your stuff, and fairly light. Very cheap to.
