Blue Cats

I struggle finding blue cats on Ky lake and was curious what a person needs to look for?

Is it points, drop offs, current ?

I find them on the Cumberland and have used the same method of bumping bottom in the channel or on the slope but have yet to have any luck on Ky lake!! I have not tried it on the river side tho.

Any ideas?

right now they should be in the secondary creeks and in the flats prespawn/spawn but theyll be mixed in with the spotted cats.

where you fishing north, mid or south end?

We found some in Chatty town in mud flats at 15 to 18 feet and around structure but they are getting ready to spawn some looked like elephants.
