Starts and runs fine then the next time it will start and run 30-45 seconds then quit.
Gas tank fuel line bulb and connectors are all brand new.
All I can think of is the carb is gummed up maybe?
Just had 1 coil pack replaced and the guy said it was running fine.
I ain't got it to run for squat since I got it back.
Could it be anything other than the carb?
Old Johnson 25 hp.

Could it be fuel pump diaphragm? If you squeeze the bulb and then starts and then goes dead, could you keep it running by squeezing the bulb?

Seems like I had one do that one time.

If it's the fuel pump then you should be able to keep it running by squeezing the bulb when it starts to die. Also you'd have to prime it before every start if the fuel pump was bad.

Check your vent line from the tank. I had a problem like that. Had mechanic on the boat with computers hooked up , run the boat for an hour with portable tank, ran fine. Hooked it to inboard tank, would die out after running for a little while. Mechanic couldn't figure the problem, left the boat with them.
$400.00 later, said he could find a problem.
I got to checking and found a kink in the vent hose. Cut the vent hose, problem solved.
