Been seeing all the pics and posts about bluegill got me to longing to watch some bobber dancing. Got everything ready last night to leave about daylight and then we had several rounds of thunderstorms throughout the night and about daylight. So put it off till they moved thru and started to take off and looked at the radar and saw another one moving in our direction. Finally got to leave about 10:30 heading to Garrett Lake. Took my wife and our dog. Of course not to much serious fishing but we caught several.
They are not quite ready yet ,but starting to bed. For Ruger, we caught a few on the roadbed and checked out another bedding area and nothing. Then went south to the biggest bed and caught several of the bull bluegills. Had enough to grill several fillets tonight and a couple more grillings.
Even with having to help out my wife a lot and help keep the dog occupied ,the bobber dancing therapy was pretty good !
