I have gone with Bobby a few times and we couldn't close the deal.
I couldn't go today so he went with his nephew.

They walked in and saw some birds in the field.
Snuck around through the woods, got set up and made two calls and the birds came back out of the woods and came straight to them.

They had a mix-up on who was shooting at what so one of the longbeards got away.

Not sure on the weight or spurs but it had a 10 inch beard.
Bobby said the spurs were "little bitty" though.

I am proud of him.
Just wish I could have been there.

Yes we had a great time today. Bob and I were both very excited. I do believe that he is hooked now. Not sure on the weight but he was definately a heavy bird. We were there no longer than 15 minutes before the bird hit the ground.
